Description

Here you will receive an initial equipment for electrolytic barking.

Usually used for pure aluminium or 5000 alloys.
The etching vessel is made of stainless steel (1.4571) and was turned from the solid. Inner diameter 47 mm, height 40 mm.
Contact is made either through a hole on the back of the 40 mm ground sample or by contacting an embedded alligator clip or cable.
The etching unit is supplied complete with cables, etching vessel and 1 litre Barker etching solution.

Experimental setup:
Connect the etching vessel (V2A cathode/cup) to the negative terminal, the ground surface/probe (banana plug/pin) is contacted with the positive terminal. The positive pole can also be connected to the etching pliers using an alligator Clip.

The application advice (voltage, etching time etc.) is available as usual free of charge on the phone.
