Description

IDAMANT© is a resin bonded high performance diamond grinding and polishing wheel. It is available in grit sizes 15 µm, 6 µm and 3 µm in diameters of 250 and 300 mm.

Disc structure:
We have filled punched cavities of a protective film with a diamond-abrasive mixture. The base is our hard RamTec polishing cloth. As soon as bright (white) spots appear, the lifetime is reached.
The carrier plate is made of brushed and stainless steel 1.4016 with 3 practical recessed grips. It is clicked onto the magnetic working disc.

Conventional discs have a uniform abrasive coating geometry. However, the discs always wear slightly more at the centre of rotation than at the outer diameter. Our pad geometry has been optimised for uniform wear.
